I mean, FH is this huge mod, and when I have to look for servers I have to individually look up each map. If it wasn't for this I probably would play FH more, instead I play Pirates or GC instead. If you need help I can type FH_ in front of every map, hell my sister can do it. It just is this incredible nuisance that I find surprising in such a famous mod.

Ehhhh... i do not understand your point? You can notice there is a small FH icon to the left of the server name...

i can't really see any need for it. that space serves better as providing more info (year, dates, etc) what do you mean by "individual lookup"? the only maps played in fh are: converted vanilla - gradually phased out. we know their names. - "berlin" fh original ones - goes on most servers. names are easily recognizable. they're longer, and often contain a year in the end "berlin-outskirts-1945" custom maps - only a few servers, and only a few maps. "ramelle-neuville" servers having vanilla maps in rotation usually also have the proper ( :D ) ones in rotation. i have never felt that we would be better off with dc-namestyle. 2c

Why don't you just use the filter options?

Ok... when I look for mod servers, using GC as an example, I do to the map bracket and type "gc" and it finds a bunch of GCmod servers. When I look for an FH server, since BF42 is kind of dumb, I can't just sort through servers by mod, so instead I have to either sift through loads of servers or I type in the name of each individual FH map to look for FH servers. I am proposing, that like DC, GC, BFP, and tons of other mods; that FH just simply put an "FH_" in front of their map names. I know this is a forum and people like to object for the sake of objecting, even though this change would take a monkey 5 minutes to do. All it does is allow people who just look for servers via the regular BF server seach with much more ease. And it just requires three keystrokes...

So here's what the BF server finder thingy is. I don't see a way to sift through servers by mod. filter.jpg If there is, and you know it (not suspect it), please tell me how I can do this using regular BF42- not some special BFtool, just the good ol' BF42 classic server sifter, then you can call me a noobelf or a monkey brain and flame all you want.

Like USMA2010 pointed out, simply click on the black and white arrow and a list of all the the mods you have installed will come up. Just click on one of them, and it will only show servers running that mod: bf.jpg
