I dont think many polish soldiers spoke english in that time... maybe a few more than the polish speaking brits...

I think its possible in BF2, but not if you have pickup kits like in FH2. (FH2 has pickup kits right?)

I know it is possible in 2142, First Strike has kit specific voices. And to my knowledge BF2 actually has more abilities then 2142. (Makes no sense but thats what the FS Devs told me)

The problem being, the American soldiers would pick up a German/Polish kit and they wold speak that language. But if you keep them strictly team based you don't get that problem. FS can do it because we dont use pick up kits... As a matter of fact you can't pick up the enemy weapons at all.

Kradovech;3867315Different models for different classes is definitely possible, I was talking about the different voice commands earlier.

If different models for different classes is possible, (which it is) then certainly different voice commands for different classes should be possible. I'm guessing its all in how the devs would save/assign sound files.

yeah, to me it sounded possible in theory, or at least to me it made sense, but i wasn't sure of the limitations of the engine. But if you say it's possible TY2D2, then i can't wait for it to be implemented in game!

But, Ctz, the Squad Leader, Commander and Grunt all have different voices (the American side being the most obvious place to find this out, just listen) - would it be possible to code these different voices to apply to different kits rather than different positions on the battlefield?

Another example: Euro Force had French squad leaders and German troops. (ha, like that'll happen)

No, it probably won't be implemented ingame because FH will most likely have pick up kits.

The thing is to have kit specific voices they have to assign the sounds to each kit. But what voice do they assign to the pick up kits which are neutral? They can't just be overwritten by the players first kit, because the voice commands aren't tied to his team they are tied to his kit, so when he drops that kit he would get a new voice. Thats the problem.
