(this is serious yet humorous suggestion, not trying to be funny racist joke) We are in Afrika! The mother land! dont tell me there is no Black Africans(yes thats proper term). I'm looking now, but mayube some people could find a axis or allie like africa or Zulu brigade, or even an ArabAfrickan brigade or sumtin. I'm suearching for one now. You could use these skins advantage of making arab or african(bf2 skins) to an advantage. Maybe a whole battle betwen allies and an african brigade. Or better yet, allied african brits or africanamericans. The tank commanders or engineers could be "African descent". I know there was tank and enigineer type units of african brits and americans. edit:forget the sex thing
I like this idea, its always fun playing forgotten battles.
I would actually love to see Gurkhas / Indians or Goumiers, but to my knowledge, in North Africa Indian troops were the only major "non-white" outfit. The Italians had some local scouts, and maybe the French foreign legion (Bir Hakeim) had a few non-caucasian troops.
I believe the Italian campaign was the first (barring colonial troops in the French army in 1940) in Europe with large numbers of non-European soldiers. It'd be neat to see some variety there, but not out of principle.
While it would be rather realistic to have ie. women in the Red Army as IRL. But tbh, I much more like it to be old casual style men vs men like it basically was. If to include women and different races to one's armies, might aswell include the jungvolk and other children soldiers... :/
The amount of female troops in the ussr army wasn't large enough to warrant having mixed sexes of the models. Not to mention the added work since they would have to make the models from scratch i'd think rather than more or less reskin the ones already in.
I'm for the Gurkha's especially if they get their custom knives with an animation for cutting off ears. :D I'm not for the females though. There were not enough involved in the overall scheme of things in WWII to warrant their inclusion.
The Italians had Libyan garrison troops and Ethiopian garrison troops.
IIRC the Italians called them Colonial troops. They appeared to be mostly black.
Also I seem to remember the Brits had Senegalese troops who were black.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

LIES!! the ruskies used plenty of women in combat. from what i hear though, not so much as infantry and tankers, but as pilots and snipers and such.
Russian sniper pickup kit should make you a woman.:smokin:
