Ok this is a suggestion to *imo* add realism to some battles. In certain battles were troops were not supplied right before battle, like battle of the bulge ect. It would hopefully add realism to give troops random amounts of grenades and ammo. Or just nades. Like sometimes you would spawn with 2 nades , or 1, or maybe none over even 3. Or if giving random amounts of magazines/ammo would be cool. Remember this would be for battles with short supplies ect. I don’t know if this is possible but it might be. And while I made this thread here is another idea, how about making the m1 carbine and extra assault type class for some later levels in the pacific. , along with the m1 Garand.
I like the idea for randomness, adds a nice effect, just gotta control it a bit.
Yes as long as you don't get into a situation where you have 1 rifle nade, 3 frags, 2 pistol clips, and 1 extra clip for your rifle.
another thing to help add realism is what your weapon looks like when you spawn with it. example make it a50 50 chance of your BAR having a bipod when you spawn with it. or a 50 50 chance of your mp40s folding stock to be locked or folded.
or you could just start with a knife then have to pick up the kits you want from a table or somthing

There is some problem with random weapon loadout for infantery. Optical changes are easily possible, but ammo loadout is not that easy. It's different when it comes to vehicles, random is a easy to do (and used in the next version).
Hasnt this been discussed before and the reason its not possible was the lack of an SDK?
It's not that it would be impossible, but ... not working 100%. Alot of stuff you can trick, but there are some limits, and if the trick would bring more bad than good it's not worth the trouble.
