I see alot of FH is a "realism mod" stuff on the forums, what I am confused by is in what part or the whole of it do you all mean by realisim? The tanks and stuff being that it has alot of armor and weapons that other mods dont? That were used in WWII. I know it's not ammo load outs and the way alot of the weapons work or the planes act. Some of the weapons are a little out there, ditto on the planes. I am not trying to flame or put the mod down,I like the mod and it's top notch work, heck theres games that you have to pay for that are not as good as what the FH team has done here, but the word realisim in FH has me a bit confused on what the meaning is here. That's just the "FH Realism Mod". I think the OP was referring to FH generally referred to as a realism mod. FH isn't really an obsessive realism mod as much as some others, but instead, it balances realism with gameplay so that there is actually a decent gaming experience. I'm not sure what you mean about the ammo loadouts, because they're all mainly based on realistic statistics. There's no more of the ridiculous vanilla fighters with 15 bombs, dive bombers with 30 bombs or 15 torpedoes, etc. Weapon effects are substantially more realistic than vanilla, although there are certainly still some things to be desired. A rifle round to the head or chest will kill you instantly, although there's still some issues about the arms, which aren't 1s1k, blocking the chest, but (hopefully) that's being worked on.

Oh, sorry. I thought you asked why FH is called a realism mod, but you were actually referring to the FHR mod.

Indeed. It adds correct insignia on vehicles, new sounds and new uniforms.

Upsides: Historical and much better and much more maps Much better damage settings Much more vehicles and weapons More countries Downsides: Sound is horrible Takes forever to load unless you have really good computer If you can barely run BF1942, you won't be able to run FH Huge file to download/install
