i know many like total realism (me to0) this are my idea,s #1. nicer blood efects #2. more pain sounds' #3. longer dead body,s #4. more taunts like (flank left, flank right) ext #5. more weather efects #6. helm-popup would be nice if the engine allows it and much more but i dont have any time now soon i come with a full list :nodding:

Um.

Blood effects/pain sounds don't really do much for the game.

Longer dead bodies= more lag.

I barely use the comm rose since I play with a clan over ventrilo, so donno how useful it is.

Weather effects would be nice

And what do you mean helm popup. If you mean it flying off when hit, then no. Helmets do not stop bullets unless your incredibly lucky, and combat troops for the most part wear chinstraps to keep it from wobbling around and falling off.

Yeah, helmets will help you only against grazing shots, maybe small calibres from larger distance or shell splinters (again, not on close distances). And everything that falls on your head as well as some close combat weaponry, of course. :)

Yeah longer lasting corpses would be nice but it could kill slower comps so its not good idea.

Comm rose is usefull for pubbies not for you who play in tournees or clan matches where you communicate with teamspeak (I would love to see more of it in pubbie play :(). So yes its very usefull.

Weather effects would be nice. I like that little sand strom in Supercharge, would be nice if it could happen randomly in open deserts.

i mean with helm popup ,when you shoot somone in his head the helm would lay next to the body (maybe with a bullet hole) and a ping sound for the guy thats hit in the helmet. like in a realism mod for cod2:D and a better blood texture would be nice!

i think longer dead bodies are not a good idea, many of us (i think) have been blocked by a dead body when they want to maneuver... and he joins the dead bodies very soon.

That was problem in BF42/FH1. I've never experienced that in BF2, vanilla or mods.

Vanilla CoD2 also has the helmet-pop-up. Had it multiple times in singleplayer this week. Don't know if it works on MP to.. (great singleplayer, could have been longer but multiplayer, played it 2 times on MP now and it's like: spawn get shot spawn get shot spawn get shot. But I'm still a noobie) EDIT: @General_Henry, In bf42 bodies are static but in bf2 you can just step in them.

The damn comm rose is by far less intuitive than the BF42 function keys, but still it's usefull (even if I'm using Teamspeak) to give orders to your squads on the minimap, or spot enemy tanks for everyone on the minimap (this is very important when defending Mersa Matruh - no one can pass thru if all threats are correctly shown on the minimap - a serious observation work, and Mersa would be totally german proof)
