So just because people think the sound is "annoying" this feature should not be in FH2 even though it is realisitc and would add a lot more intensity to the game? In FH I think the Japaneese Zero is the most annoying sound I have heard in ANY game but that does not mean I want it changed or better yet removed compleatly so you cant hear it at all.

I dont care if it is a snap like in this video or a woosh like was for the MC sounds, I just want to be able to hear when someone is shooting at me. Being able to hear something when a bullet passes close by you would add so much to gameplay, it would make covering fire a lot more effective, it would give you feedback as to when you should be looking for a place to hide, and would add so much intensity to firefights.

i was just watching a video on msnbc of a truck convoy driver videotaping the inside of his truck as he was being ambushed by the enemy (really really intense scary stuff. through the whole 4 minute video your just bracing yourself to see some guy with an ak47 banging on the window) and all around you could hear gunshots. they sounded EXACTLY like the sounds in the video. im surprised this has not made it into fh1942 already

You may not agree, but I love the "ragdoll" effect. Is very realistic. I mean, well, its funny. In BF42 or BFV,if someone is killed,in a platform,or anything like it,in the edge of it,the corpse will not fall from it. Will simply lie on the air. That´s why I don´t appreciate the BF42 and BFV deaths.

im ok with ragdoll effects, but when its done well. in bf2, when u kill someone, suddenly they go slack with arms outstreched in a T shape (im assuming its because the devs made it so when they die, they snap into the default modelers pose). this totally kills the effect. look at halflife for realistic ragdoll done right. there they more slump foward, rather than snap upright then fall.

To hell with only the sounds, I can't wait till FH has Trackir4 support. I'd never get off the computer, it'd add a whole new chapter to my addiction... actually make that a book.

That cracking sound is exactly how the sound if a passing bullet is in real life. But when we play computer games it's to have fun. And that sound is absolutely lame, the movie quality woosh as a bullet passes by is much nicer. The sound just sounds so lame, and I am sure many would be incredibly annoyed with it after a while. There are so many things to consider in FH2, when talking reality. The way you aim is important. Red Orchestra did it extremely well with their iron sights and the way the sway works in a way that is not easily predictable and controllable. A cracking sound is not important in my oppinion. Especially when the aestetic value of the sound is nil. The sound itself is utter crap, no matter how real it is.

Oh yeah, I'll find a suitable job no worries there. I'll just fly and keep bombing you ground forces over and over again. All you'll hear is "boom, boom, boom" ;) With that sound I'm not playing as inf :D
