i have been thinkin just like in BF vietnam you have levels like ''hue-1967'' or something like that and then you have also the level ''reclaiming hue'' it is only a suggestion, but you can do that also in FH. and it doesn't require that much work(i guess). just like (it is an example i don't know any better examples) The Battle of Arhnem in 1940 Dutch vs German. and then Reclaiming Arnhem, with the USA or UK Don't say now that we need to reskin and stuff to get a dutch army. but it was an example, it can also be used in france or something like that. PS i've used the search button and he didn't give anything similar to this topic:)

Ehhh, BFV sucked. All it did was reverse rolls and often it was easy to get the map confused. Stalingrad could work, but it would be a different level almost entirely.

That was a cheap trick BFV used to recycle the maps to make the maplist look longer. There's nothing worth copying there as such. But the idea itself is not a bad one, like in Stalingrad's example to have the Germans first assault the city and then have the Soviet counter-offensive. But they should be separate maps altogether, designed for the specific event, not just reversed duplicates of each other.

again a suggestion..... just like in 1940 may. Dutch VS Germans :naughty: on a sunny day with buildings still in one piece. then 1944-1945 Allies VS Germans several destroyed building, crates, and then rain or something like that, german bunkers(festung Holland) in an evening.

to make it ehm scary or something:D and at stalingrad, the city is not yet destroyed, most buildings still stand. and then the battle of stalingrad with the destroyed buildings and stuff. it could make the game a bit more cooler.

What are you talking about? The maps share the same layout, but other than that are completely different. Besides, even without these "map copies", you still have 15 totally different maps. BFV did not suck - it just wasn't as original as Battlefield 1942 was.

Matters of taste cannot be argued, but you are of course wrong. It did suck. :smack:

You and your Holland! :p But yeah, I totally agree. It would be a good idea to get the most use out of maps. Other examples would be many of the Pacific islands, like Guadacanal and Guam. [I may be on this ice now, but I think those island belonged to US at the start, and were captured by the Japs, and the retaken by US]
