These are some things that arent realistic in fh1 that i hope they fix in fh2 -reloading the thompson when the clip is done in a thompson the slide locks to the rear you pull the mag out replace the mag and thats it all you have to do is pull the trigger and the slide automatically closes like lots of other sub machine guns. In fh1 im pretty sure you have to pull the slide back replace the magazine and close the slide. semi-auto pistols- (45. auto nambu walther luger) when the mag is done in a pistol the slide automatically locks to the rear you replace the mag and close the slide by either pulling back on the slide and releasing it or pressing the slide release. in fh1 the slide doenst lock all you do is replace the mag and rack the slide. m1 garand- when the clip is done the slide locks to the rear (does'nt do that in fh1) k98 and springfield- when the clip in these rifles is done you cant close the bolt unless you put a new clip in (usually stripper clips) or press down on the magazine (yes i know that the springfield has a switch on it to turn this option of or on but i think you would want it on in the battlefield) i hope u find my post credible because i own most of these (springfield k98 45 auto and a mac-11 full auto :cool: which reloads basically like a thompson ) thompsons on the dreamlist =p
you forgot how when you work the bolt instead of working the bolt your guy pull another bullet outta his pocket, which all of the animation issues is just dice's doing

I belive that most of the animations in FH1, are vanilla BF1942 animations, explaining their accurate-quality..
And then there are engine limitations, like the one with closing the bolt while the magazine is empty. The problem is that you can only have one bolt action animation, as far as I know, for each weapon. And ofcourse we want that animation to be Open the bolt, close the bolt. So when you fire the last round, this animation playes, and then the rifle registeres that the rifle is empty, and plays the reload animation.
The same logic can be applied to when reloading a half full rifle. I can shoot one round from the Enfield, and then reload it, and it reloads with 10 rounds.. so I should have about 19 rounds in it, if that would work out. We can't change that either, becaus the only reload animation we can have, is having it loaded with 2 stripper clips, for it to make sense when the rifle is totaly empty.
Now that we can, and killi Vanilli has been doing a wonderfull job at, have custom animation for each weapon, you'll see alot more accurate reload animation, for each weapon. I'm prepared to suspend disbelief with those weapons as you don't see your player's hands at all when using them. Also as no other mod has ever tried it I'm guessing it would be exceedingly hard.
I'm not sure if the game engine supports custom reload (if any) animation for stationary weapons, or vehicle weapons..
I don't know if this is possible but maybe you could make fh2 have it's own engine or would that just take up time.
makning a engine is very hard to do and it would make the game cost money (even though i would still pay for it) :bows:
