since all the years ive played FPS. ive noticed that the reloading is not up the scratch (im fussy). take the rifles for instance, especially the garand; when ejecting the clip and reloading he holds up the rifle with one hand and reloading it with another. i would like to see the rifle come alot close to screen while holding it up with the left hand from underneath and inserting the clip with the other hand, enpahsizing difficulty while reloading.

yes, yes, yes, i am a war phenatic and yes i do know that games are supposed to be quickly played (ram the clip in and reload under 2 seconds!!) but the garand took over 8.5 seconds to reload and while under pressure and fire, maybe more.

i just think this feature will make the game more exciting and alot more realistic

what do you think

(go on throw a book at me why dont cha!) lol =p:rolleyes:

i mean, take the mp40 in MOH:AA. i loved the reload in that. as he inserts the clip, you can just see him miss the clip entry lol (please done talk about bananna clips here and inserting, it may lead to other things lol!):naughty:

The reloading in Red Orchestra is actually pretty realisitic, IMO the best ever done in a FPS.

A lot of the problems you talk about are because BF1942 does not allow the right hand to be removed from the gun. This is not the case in BF2, so expect beautiful animations in FH2!

Though oddly, they got the proper way of reloading the stripper clip on a Mosin, but copied it over to the Kar98k reload, which should be just a sharp push down, instead of lifting the top bullet up slightly to push.

As for reload times, under the stress of combat, it actually does take awhile. You open the chamber, get to cover, fumble around with your pouch, manage to get a clip out, close the pouch, push it into the slot, jam in the rounds as best you can (unless the clip jams up, and you have to strip the cartriges off and reload one at a time) then you can finally close the bolt, which also pushes out the clip. As for the stick magged weapons, you'd want to keep ahold of the extra mags for reloading later, so you tend to take them out, put them back in their pouch, THEN get a new one and slide it in. All in all, under combat situations, it actually takes awhile.

Or, kiddies, you can do what Uncle Strangelove does and say "Fock it" and *throw* your gun at the enemy. Or, if you're feeling *very* spiteful, you cook a grenade and throw it at the Jerry's crotch.

I prefer running out of ammo, then running screaming loudly into my headset into the teeth of an allied tank with my knife. If you ever kill see me doing this and kill me, now you know why I did it.
