What about changing the rifle grenades crosshairs to something like the one used in vanilla BF2 for grenade launchers? Would it make aiming too easy? Currently very few people use rifle grenades, I suppose because they're rather hard to aim/use.

BTW, how are rifle grenades supposed to be aimed in real life? I suppose the "cup" prevents using the standard sights.

Why should a ww2 weapon geht a modern Granadelauchersight? Nadelaunchers were used to lop granades over far distances, so I guess the people firing them just practiced till they knew the distance they would hit and the angle they'd need to hold the gun at for that goal. Watching WW2 movies it seems that most of the guys there just fire the nades in the general direction of the enemy without targeting over anything. When it comes to AT Riflenades I guess you just have to hold it on target, when you are close enough. :)

Usually most devices came along with additional sight that were mounted to the rifle. Scroll down to Gewehrgranatgerät / Schiessbecher to see the one for the K98: Rifle Grenades Gewehrgranate

It's just a different crosshair with notches to help the player calculate/compensate the bullet drop, I don't think there's anything "modern" (or "realistic", for what it's worth) about it Pic of vBF2 crosshair aiming at the sky:

The rifle grenades are a perfect example of how some practice really can make a huge difference

I use them sometimes as a poor man´s mortar and scored a few kills with it, but the suppression is what counts.

Just like Spartacus said, practice does the thing with grenade launchers. And just like TS I also mostly use them to surpress or scare the enemy before charging :p And that Kampfpistole from Apo's link looks brutal!

Practice does make perfect. Besides, the rifle nades have such a large drop that the VBF2 nade launcher sites would be as useless as the current crosshairs. And if you make them bigger to compensate, you will have one big crosshair on your hands.

i like this picture of how to use rifle grenades showthread.php?p=127038H_022061.jpg

still practice makes perfect, and rifle grenades, once you know how to shoot them properly are deadly to take out MG's, guns, bunkers etc

I'm just guessing that in real life, shooting a rifle grenade, you had the option of looking down a special sight for aiming purposes. It wasn't entirely necessary all the time as modern soldiers know about the M203. The M203 can be fired with acceptable accuracy just "by feel" but there are (2 in fact) sights to use with the M203 in order to get some real accuracy.

If the FH2 devs are unable to get the proper historical iron sights for the rifle grenades, then I would hope they develop a suitable floating crosshair that simulates this aiming ability.
