I really hate the idea of having to wait while aiming a panzerfaust, PIAT or bazooka, just to get it accurate. Same goes with other weapons, because it really turns it into a quick draw. My Solution: Instead, just have it so things like rocket launcher will take a good 3-5 seconds to go into ironsights, and have it only able to fire while crouching and in ironsights. That way, you can still be prepared and not have to worry about screwing up your aim while looking around, and you can also not have to worry about innaccuracy AS LONG AS YOU ARE IN IRONSIGHTs. Comments?

Why not just have the ironsights actually sway with your actual aim? So that when your aim steadies, the ironsights do so as well. Having a rocket launcher ironsight visually rock steady, while your shot goes 45 degrees off to the left is kind of silly.

i think what you guys are describing, is how the AT's work in .7 and are done this way, due to limitations in the bf42 engine. this will be completely different in fh2 however. hopefully with a proper sequence of events. where once your in position to fire at a tank, you will then load or prime the AT shell, then shoulder the weapon, then flip up ironsight, deal with a little swaying while aiming, fire. also hopefully they will have a proper backblast. frying anyone to close behind the weapon or the weapon holder if to close to a wall.

ever sinces 0.7 i havent pick up a AT kit it just plan out sucks

well i have no problem with them in .7 just aim where you want to hit, count to 5 without moving at all, fire... simple

i suggest you practice on some bots in a sp game to get the hang of it.

ANZAC, I think our little match on Falaise Pocket showed you that in the right hands (mine) the new AT weapons do NOT suck.
