I hate UAVs They are so stupid and unrealistic in both BF2 and FH2. Pisses me off soooo much when Iam sniper, in a good position, getting my points, hidden somewhere and this noobish piece of plastic crap flys over me and some noob comes behind and kills me. Same in FH2... should be removed and forgotten, forbidden, destroyed and whatever. I hate it! Instead they should come up with some gas chambers so you can put those noobs along with noobs who though "ha lets make a flying aircraft that perfectly circles around in 360 degrees, spots anything even if it cant see it and then destroy it self where after re-spawns like a phoenix!... Yes George I like that lets do it to piss some people off nd screw the game up"

Unless you guys know how to disable the UAV for not seeing through concrete, dirt or whatever you are hiding under, then theres no hope of seeing this one "fixed". Takes away some gameplay to it.. but it also adds other gameplay like hiding as infantry. And since it will add realism and add gameplay somewhere else.. I dont think its a problem.. I do agree that its a very useful plane.. It helps the team significantly. However, its not realistic.. and it makes certain aspects of the game impossible. Maybe giving the commander the scan ability wouldnt be so bad... but what happens when im set on assasinating the commander? And he see's me outside of his tent..

How about: Pilot needs to press fire to get a 1-5 (not literally of course) UAV around it? Say, you fly around minding your own business, then you see enemy units, you swoop down, press fire when around them and you get the UAV for couple of seconds. I have no idea if this is possible or not, but I think this would resolve the problem for these "snipers" (lol). Basicly it would require the pilot to SEE enemy units to spot them.

I see what your saying, and I dont think it will solve the problem really. They will still be able to instantly find a sniper inside a building or concealed in a bush..

Now you are just being _ignorant_ towards the suggestion. Yes, they will see through bushes and bunkers when using UAV, no they cant see you with bare eye...

With fire-key, the UAV would last for only a second or two and if possible, there could be a reload function to it so the pilot cannot spam the bloody thing all the time while flying.

You seriously cant say with honest face that this wouldnt help your... erm, LEET HAXOR SNIPER SKILLZ0RS, because it would. Yes, it would see through materials, but first they need to press the button at right place... and finding you first... well, its hard as you could not just fly around the map and hopefully pick out an enemy unit in the middle of nowhere.

im all for making the second seta of the aircraft the only way for spot , and maybe the second camera of the pilot too , removing the uberduperradar .

Its not to hard to figure out the gridpoint where the enemy sniper is.. If you're killed by a sniper at your main. You can just hop in the scout plane and use it once. Then he will appear on the map. And its not really about helping "my" 1337 haxor sniper skillzors... its about making it more realistic.

Why do you laugh at the marksman kit flippy? Sure there wern't true "snipers" during the war but I still find it one of the most effective kits when team play is involved. It's a scout with the ability to take out Arty and mg nests.

If for nothing else the "radar" on the plane is just too "BF2 play-esque" for my liking. Everytime I see it It just reminds me of the UAV, and takes away from the FH WW2 feel.
