michael557;4174847I hate UAVs They are so stupid and unrealistic in both BF2 and FH2. Pisses me off soooo much when Iam sniper, in a good position, getting my points, hidden somewhere and this noobish piece of plastic crap flys over me and some noob comes behind and kills me. Same in FH2... should be removed and forgotten, forbidden, destroyed and whatever. I hate it!
A good sniper changes his position anyway, not often, but he does.
Die Happy;4174801']so you want the scoutplane to be more "useless" than it is right now if it is used rigth it can be very useful to scout and recon enemy positions or find the hidden infantry man preventing you to cap the flag or whatever
Realism is fun to me. Yes there is a point where its to realistic. Real war is alot slower then any FPS game out there. However certain things can be made realistic. I dont have a perfect solution for the scout plane. But it is far from realistic when you can be spotted miles away through walls. Aspects like airplanes in FH2 are a tad to realistic. In FH2, planes dont have a very very significant role in the game. However they did in wwii. In wwii they also had ALOt more time to bomb/strafe targets. Also, dogfighting in FH2 (minus the damage system 1 20mm to the engine would disable/tear it apart in RL) if two pretty evenly skilled pilots go head to head in FH2, the dogfight can last for 30 minutes. Yes realistic but they dont play a significant role in that round. I suggest that planes get more more firepower. And have a longer spawn time. I hope FH devs will do something like that. Because right now. Those long ass dogfights, shooting someone down in 30 minutes just so that he gets in another fighter the next minute is horrible. Granted its pretty rare to have an evenly skilled pilot flying the other fighter.
The only time the scout plane could become a real, effective problem for the enemy is in a clan match, but other than that it's nothing.
What would interest me is, how do you even know it's the plane's fault someone stabbed you? People aren't always as hidden from far away, at it may seem naturally due to grass and stuff.

When the guy flys over you and parachuts down on top of your head and shoots you with a pistol lol...
Blame the guy who shot you for this rather useless technique, not the plane. See, I don't blame the quote button for your fullquote, but you, the user.
