Ok as we all know the 234/2 is in game right know. For those of you who are not WWII geeks its what you call the Puma. There were around 100 of these produced but we have it in the mod and its a very nice addition. So my question is this why don't we add the 224/1, 3,4. Just a little background. SdKfz 234/1 Same hull as the /2 but had a different turret. It was [color=black]equipped [/color]with a 20 mm KwK38 L/55 gun and coaxial MG42. The turret is very [color=black]similar [/color]to the one for the SdKfz 222. About 200 of these were produced SdKfz 234/3 Same hull as the /2 but had no turret. It was [color=black]equipped [/color]with a 75 mm KwK 51 L/24 gun and MG42 mount for AA and AP [color=black]defense[/color]. For the non tech people this is the gun mounted in the PIVds. This had an open topped crew compartment so the gunner/drivers should be [color=black]vulnerable [/color]to small arms and splash dammage. About 90 of these were produced. SdKfz 234/4 Same hull. It was equipped with a 75 mm Pak 40 L/46. They [color=black]literally [/color]mounted the AT gun with carrage and shield on top of the hull. It also had the mg42 for defense. About 90 we produced. Now i'm not saying these are important but seeing as we have the hull done hey why not. Nothing really important just would be nice to have.
its not new what im gonna say but: i prefer some heavys, nashorns, jadgtigers isu and su series, the m26 pershing, so, put this at the middle of the things-to-do list
I can agree with you on this, even though I don't think the Puma should have been modeled yet. Now that it is, it's probably a smart thing to do various versions at once.
ya with that new Puma model we saw (with the Sherman 105) I think it wouldnt be real hard. The only problem I see it the open top with details on the /3 and /4 taking some time.
im all for it. this gets rid of the puma as a superweapon thats fast and can be heavy hitting vs inf and tanks, if it gets a flanking shot.
