Jomboholic;3991734In Fh1 the weapons were sometimes ridiculously innacurate. Why was this? And will it be fixed in Fh2? I sometime fired thomson rounds that had so much spread that they were litrally 8 to six feet from where my gun was pointing. I've wtached quite a few videos of thompsons and other guns fireing, and fired enough guns to know this is ridiculous. Will it be fixed?

The Thompson is a difficult weapon to control. Despite the significant weight of the weapon, which is something like 11 pounds last I checked, the .45 ACP cartridge is very powerful and produces quite a bit of recoil.

Firing it full rock n' roll (that is, a magazine dump) is going to give you a wide spread.

The trick is short, controlled bursts. One or two hits with a .45 slug will bring you guy down.

another thought, anyway to help "spot enemies" because I seem to miss so many possible targets that wait till i pass them and then shoot me in the back or knife me. any help on that?

Just work on improving your situational awareness.

Scanning bushes with for enemy tags is a newb's way of doing it. Learn to identify what weapons make which sounds. Look for muzzle flashes, rifles sticking out of windows (flagging, as we call it), that sort of thing.

Well, then this is one eternal noob who uses it as by far the best in-game way of finding out if there's "Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!"....

I also keep a constant look out on the radar and try to see who my team mates are nearby so I can see what kills them to try and keep an idea of where the enemy might be.

I vote somebody develop a hack which makes the opposing team ammo load 100% tracers - that would go a long way toward being able to find 'em. ;)

There are no American in release #1 of FH2. ;) Only British versus Germans. =p

Donutz, prior to the introduction of the Sten SMG, the Thompson was the submachine gun of the British Army in the west. It is every bit as essential to the release of the North African FH2 and the Lee-Enfield No. 4 and Bren gun.

But I'm sure you already know this.

I do.

Can't wait to see the Tommies and Jerries slaughter eachother on the FH2 battlefield and hearing the marevelous weaponsounds. :naughty:

Erm looks like I misquoted the previous post though somehow. *corrects mistake and puts in right quote* Edit2: Can't find it, I was sure there was a post somewhere talking about "Americans in the FH2 screenies" which I intended to corrected since their are no Americans in FH2 release nr 1. I must be in the wrong thread or something. :/
