Im Sorry, I did not know suggesting that Karl Mortar will disapoint a lot of people... How about a more conventional german artillery like the sFH 18 150mm L/30 Howitzer for this map?
Sevastopol would surely be a good map
I'd say, the Russians start with all the flags, and the axis are bleeing until they capture all but the last or something. Russian equipment would be only two smaller tanks or so, but the city ought to be riddled with stationary guns and bunkers, and guns in bunkers, and some aa-guns.
Germans would get severeal Panzer IVs, mobiel artillery, and bobmers, both Ju 87 dive bobmer and He 111 horizontal bombers I'd say.
Of course, all that artillery, both groudned and aerial, will be of not too much use ina dense city, but still slightly preferable to going in on foot in that maze of lead and steel...
Would be nice. I think, that this map should be added. Also Fight for Moscow is necessary.
for the map described a ticket scenario not dissimiler to Omaha Beach would need to be employed.
Sevastopol sounds like a realy nice idea. Hmmm...wasnt it similar battles when the Germans defended it during '43? BTW: some videos to show the difference in the Dora/Gustav and the Karl.
KombrigWould be nice. I think, that this map should be added. Also Fight for Moscow is necessary.
Well, the battle would be outside Moscow, and I'm not sure if the set-up would offer anything different then Kursk or Kharkov, so I don't know if such a map would be worth it. If you had an idea, I'd be glad to hear it, just so I knew what you ment. :uhm:
