I... uh... make alot of suggestions. If it bothers you tell me to stop. For FH2 I think it would be awesome if you guys took the xhairs out of the game completely. Now that 3D iron sights have made their debut in BF2 there's really no need for them. They are unrealistic, annoying, and now unnecessary. If you want to argue look at how successful removing tank xhairs were.

No thanks, and is not so unrealistic as you say, the mind is conected with your arm IRL, that's the reason of crosshairs

It would help if the people who voted "no" actually put why they did soroll%20eyes%20%28sarcastic%29.gif... I voted, "Yes, but only for certain entities (please specify)". On to specifying: I don't want cross-hairs where they're not historically correct. I want fighter cross-hairs (which means having the cockpit on as opposed to player with Nose Cam and using the cockpit's cross-hair), and I want a tank gun sight, and so on. But I don't want Jack the Magic Crosshair to hover around in front of my vision helping me aim my rifle. Sure, I won't be as accurate without it, but there's something called practice. And you'll be surprised at how accurate you can be without the cross-hair (I've got some experience from Galactic Conquest, where the sniper rifles don't have cross-hairs when they're not scoped)! And if I want to be perfectly accurate, I'll aim down the sight of the gun or use the scope or whatever. No problem at all. You should, however, be prepared for a lot of whining and spamming. And with that I don't mean rational posts, but "OMG WTF PUT THAT XHA!R B4CK NOW Gameplay>realism LOL 1 CANT HIT CRAP!!!1 U ruined teh FH111eleven11onemadx.gifmadx.gifmadx.gif:uhoh:" and the like. Please yes, otherwise the whole point of having iron sights is useless. Play RO you get used to it and can shoot semi accurately in close ranges.

Shoot, fix your poll. The thread is titled "remove xhairs for FH2" and the question is "should FH2 have crosshairs" I voted yes to remove crosshairs, but now it is yes to keep them :( I like the idea of removing them. Tanks dont have them, why should infantry? You get a more or less general idea of where your shot is going based on the fact that anyone can estimate the center of their screen. If you want an accurate shot, you have to take the time to look down the gunsight- just like in real life. Dont tell me its bad for gameplay, CoD ( server side realism mods), BiA, and Red Orchestra are all games that do not use center crosshairs. FH2 could go without them as well.

The question is will FH2 allow you to aim down the sights? If not keep the crosshairs, if so take them out.

Agreed. I suppost you could just not remove the crosshairs, but make the deviation alot more when not using the ironsights, im not sure if thats possible coding wise, but it would mean that you cannot, even with a dot on the center of the screen, be 95% accurate like you can do now in FH. Im pretty sure people that handle guns can "kinda" aim from the hip, so yes, some indication is good, but 100% accuracy is bullshit, so the current system really has to go. I dont know how COD is coding wise, but it seems that even with the crosshairs, putting your target in the middle of them is NO guarantee at all that you will actually hit the target, its usefull for close range, but useless beyond that, its the way FH should be. So.. Dont remove the crosshairs, but increase deviation when not using ironsights = realistic.

Good, get those FH2 suggestions going. :D

Personally, as long as there are ironsights I couldn't care less for crosshairs. Ofcourse the ironsight view shoot have advantages over the non sighted view. Less accurate? Maybe make a big round crosshair, so you can't determin the exact center? No crosshairs would be fine too.
