Hi everybody, fans/devs, Romans............. Well, I am asking if: 1. Can you make ships like, break in half at the hit point whne they sink? Say you hit that tsurumi with a torp below his stack. Can it break in half right there? 2. If you can't do that, can you change it back so the ships don't just dissapear when they die? Make it so that when they hit that"bottom of the ocean" they dissapear, or when they go beneath the surface. 3. If you're on a sub, and someone is driving and your'e in the deck gun, you can hit ships on the surface and below alike. My suggestion is to make it so that you "go inside the sub" when it dives, like the commander does. Then you might give it a 7-second delay before you can get in the gun on the surface, to simulate the crew getting out of the hatch, and going down the ladder to the gun. These are issues that I think need to be addressed because, even for the "gameplay over realism" theory, it's just plain unrealistic. I mean, the whole gun crew can't get from the deck hatch to the gun and load a shell in 0.05 seconds, can it? I'm serious, though. Are these possible now, and if not, it BF2?

In normal BF42 the ship doesn't dissapear, it sinks, then dissapears.:P

1) Would require a new ship model with internal details to show the innards when it broke and...

2) Its currently a nightmare to do new ship death animations, requires a SDK.

3) Still having problems implementing more than one crew member on the sub. When sub dives anyone onboard but the commander dies. SDK.

Supposedly BF2 will make things alot easier on the devs and remove alot of the Arts Mystica needed to make things work.

or it will be just as bad, but it will be so tightly put together that it won't allow Arts Mystica either.

well would it really be that hard to delay the time before the ship dissapears, so when its underwater it goes...

I would like to see more ships roll then sink. Be sweet to torp a Capital ship while its moving and see it roll.

I see no reason why the wreck disappear time cant be adjusted. I think you can do that in the objects template.com file

Will it be possible with large capital ships in BF2? I've only seen a small rubber-raft or something like that on the movie clips! No carriers! :'(

I seen a trailer where a helicopter takes off from a carrirer, the problem is I dunno if the carrier was a static or a vehicle.
