SkipsterPixelaimers are far more deadly than any other type of player, so basically, if FH had an unlockable system, those who sit in the main on the arty would get the best weapons.

BF2 features rotating skyboxes, from what I've heard... so no pixel shooting.

that limits it, but does not remove it. people can still shoot from other fixed reference points, such as trees and buildings.

The 13th Raptor SS snipers had specialised sniper cammo.. im sorry, no links.
I know that, but are you sure they used massive ghillie suits like the current modern army? confusedx.gif
i kid you not! get a hold on the book "The German Sniper 1914-1945" 0873642236.jpg

Do you have it? Care to maybe scan/camera some pics showing that they used ghillie suits?

Yes they did have ghillie suits like modern military snipers today. I have seen a picture of an SS sniper who tied wheat stalks all around his body and stood along a fence with dozens of other bushels - a bit uncomfortable but hey, it worked. Germans tended to do the more extravagant cammo like the one I mentioned and stuff like hiding in dead cows. Japs had some really nasty sniping techniques espcially in those dense jungles. Brits tended to use the modern style ghillie suit with the leaves etc. Russians seemed to use anything. We stinking americans who always seem to be behind but forever ahead did little more than give a guy a springfield. So maybe it would be cool if diff civs had diff styles of cammo to give their snipers. Ghillie is the correct spelling btw.

Well: A. Since snipers are usually in hard to access spots alot of photographers didn't get many shots of them in action. B. Try googling it. C. I could scan some pics for you but I don't know how I'd be able to post them.
