Snipers will have more ammo, no pistols, and no radio. I guess that means removing binocs but keeping the 'no crosshair'.

No. I love Forgotten Hope. I've played it longer than most people, and ridden through the roughest of times because and for it. I take pretty much everything seriously. I see those posts as an insult of the intellegence of the people who love and play this game religiously. I am not going to sit idle and let it be ruined or rot like most other mods do.
I played as a sniper on A Day of Zitadelle recently. I ended up going to get more ammo with only one bullet left in my SVT40. Hell, I could live with the whole 20 rounds of ammo you get as a sniper if I at least had a pistol to defend myself with as I was going for more ammo. The extra ammo sounds good, but why remove the binocs? I actually find them quite useful for finding targets. Is it possible to simply remove the artillery spotting ability from them?
Binoculars should stay, great for spotting targets after all.
The zoom level on the binoculars is far superior to a scoped rifle anyway.

Do tell, do tell. If you mean using bicoculars to aim your regular weapon, then yes.
Xww2 made it so u have to be officer to use artillery call but some other class gets bonocs yet it cant call arty KEEP BINOCULARS
Yeah, NCOs get binoculars but can't call out targets. Works fine for me, I suppose.
