May be it's not so important for gameplay, but it will be better to add some realistic soldier animation when he is moving the AT gun.
your choice realistic soldier movement when pushing the AT-guns or FH Normandy release BEFORE 2010
seriously it is obvious that an animation would be nice but animations take a lot of work. there are more important stuff to animate like American weapons ;)
Of course, the Normandy is on a priority now. I just offered to do it in future.
I don't think such animations are even possible in the BF2 engine.
I recall Killi Vanilli saying that they were possible, but very-very complicated compared to the other animations. I think this came up when discussing changing the running animation to suit WW2

Please explain -- did soldiers run differently 60+ years ago? Or was it because of the different types of equipment they carried. No sarcasm here, I just am curious.

You know how to make BF2 animations?
It's not so much that Normandy is top priority, it's that the BF2 engine, in animations in this case distinguishes in two ways: 1. Moving. 2. Not moving. So if they tried to code this in, if you moved an inch forward or backward you would look like you're heaving to push this heavy gun at forty km/h, instead of an inch per second.
OK, but they can't leave this just like a soldier sitting behind the gun and just doing nothing, while the gun is moving on! It looks stupid!
BF1918 sorta solved it in the since that it gave each arty gun two positions. One manned the gun, and the other pushed the gun, along with a walking animation. Could not this also be done with the at guns currently ingame? Though, I guess a prob with that would be someone getting in and manning the gun while your pushing, but the Marder has similar problems anyways.
