Here's my thought. I see that all soldiers in FH1 are RIGHT handed. I just noticed it and wondered why not. A random chance in FH2 of a left-hander? It would look weird with the weapon on the other side of the screen, but would add some diversity. It would make you realize that this IS a different person that the one that just got blown apart.

... no.

There is no way we would make a whole set of left handed animations for EVERY WEAPON.

I don't think it would be a good idea. It's really awkward to play with left handed weapons in any game, despite being a lefthander myself.

In Asia, back in the day, they used their left hand only for wiping their ass and that is why there are no left handed people in Asia. So if you were to include the Pacific theater with Japanese and Chinese forces, then having some of the be left handed would be un-realistic.

I'm left handed too, but there's one other thing you've gotta remember...

Case ejectors on guns are typically on the right side of the weapon. Most WWII weapons werent ambidextrous, and were trained to be used firing with the right hand only.

Even though I'm left handed I still wouldnt like to have hot metal casings flying in my face at high speed. Especially not in the heat of battle.

I'm left handed as well, but I still fire guns with my right hand.

The sniper in saving private ryan is a lefty, and you can see how slow he is to work the bolt on his springfield.

In fact, I think the introduction of ambidextrous guns is a fairly new thing. Look at H&K and FN, they seem to boast about the fact that their new AR's and Carbines have an ambidextrous layout.

Uhh, you got it almost right:p  It's in Islam that the right hand is the "good" one and the left one is the "dirty" one. So you're not allowed to eat with your left hand and wipe you butt with the right one.

And as Gibs said, we won't make left handed weapons, as it'd need making a totally new set of animations.
