Could we use barrels like a huge bludgeoning bat to kill infantry?

'[21PzStauffenberg']Ah and another thing i experienced is that the bottom of tanks seems to be a little to strong... i was in a foxhole, when a T 34 rolled over me, i shot his bottom with the pzfst 30 and it didnt even smoke :uhm:

I'm sure they'll fix that when they also add the 3 metre stream of fire coming out the back of the faust... which would have killed you for certain. ;)

I dont think the back blast is that powerfull, it would at least have burned his lower body to some extent. Hopefully this will be in FH2, shooting a weapon like that with an object behind you should hurt you real bad.

I think if they use the scout plane idea it should like a moving UAV along its flight path for certian time limit, not a stationary one like the BF2 UAV so units would only show up breiflly as the plane passed overhead.

The vehicle dots should stay in place for a while, they should not dissapear seconds after the plane has past over.

Since realistically, scouting info would be handed down the command structure, to end up with the soldier (the players). The info would be valid, but it would be decreasingly accurate as time passes. The game should portrai this by marking the vehicles on the minimap, where they were at the time the scout plane flew over. They shouldnt be the moving icon kind, like the one you get in BF2.

The moving icon kind should be reserved for the actual ground spotters.

"But the backblast wasn't only dangerous to bystanders: the rear of the firing soldier had to be free of obstacles for at least 3 m (10 ft.), otherwise heavy burns on the back of the firing soldier would result. Officially the rear of the gunner had to be free for 10m for safety reasons and the backblast was reported as lethal to a range of 3m behind the tube."

I'd say a guy aiming a panzerfaust upwards while in a foxhole would be rather dead, or at least badly burnt enough to take him out of action. I'd imagine if this was implimented in FH it would change the attitudes and usage of AT rockets a fair bit. The old UT mod Infilitration used to have an RPG in it, and that had the backwash of flame. Really made you careful of where you used it. Then again... people are happy to climb onto tanks and faust directly down onto tank roofs.. so maybe not :uhm:

Of course.. this would be good news for PIAT users. No such restrictions apply to them.

Hmm, i see. I remember seeing a video where some dumb !@($^! walked behind a guy that was just about to fire a recoiless AT weapon (dont remember what one). He got blown away but supposedly lived trough it.

Anyways.. i stand corrected.
