it would be more realistic to add the spoter binoc feature to recon vehicles like some of the mg willis or the greyhounds
Is there any way to set the self-propelled artillery vehicles so that they don't move so much after each round? I find that it is difficult to find a position on many maps which is both out of the way of enemies and flat enough so my arty doesn't skid all over the place. If the SPAs stayed put the gunner could actually deliver accurate fire, they'd be more useful. I almost never use them anymore in FH.
binocs shouldnt be a problem, just give them to a close quarters guy or something.
what use is that? Cq is the least likely to be in a good position for a spot, what about the "Tank hunters"?, or a % of assault?
Liberation of Caen could use a spotter kit as well, if I remember corretly the only way for allies to spot anything is to steal an axis Stug3G...
usually the only time when the arty is used is on tank maps, thus every one will be at, the at should have one. (i think every class should have one)
I think that it is necessary to add the Binoculars to several kit. And secondary fire for tank AA mg positions should do an arty spot.
Admit the fact that there's so many point whores out there; if you could develop a way to give points to the person spotting arty, for every kill the person firing the arty gets while using that spot, then more people would be inclined to use it. Just giving everyone binocs isn't the answer though. If you've played enough Desert Combat, you can see that. Every class except the AA/AT class gets binoculars, yet I still find myself sitting in the scud launcher with not a single target available.
becuase everyone is AT lol
