I thought we were going to have the ability to move the guns somewhat? If thats the case the first time ya bail the gun & it shows up on the map then all that work is for nought.

Here, I digged this up for you:

Lobo;3490654I have good and bad news.

We have locked tanks and planes in FH2, to make this work the engine needs to be fooled, once you enter in one of these vehicles it will remain "occupied" even if you exit, so the enemy can't see those icons.

Bad news are the empty vehicles could appear as occupied in the minimap, but well, it's easy to know it to organize your tactics, the empty ones will not move.

Kurb King;3567083Meh, everyone already knows where all the AT guns are, I dont think the icon on the minimap gives too much away. I think the lack of an icon, showing that someone is in the gun, is more dangerous.

My point -- if you can't have randomized positions (I made a suggestion a while ago proposing a kind of semi-random spawn location; i.e. each weapon would have "x" possible spots at which it can spawn, so you never know where it'll be) then at least the damn grey icon should go away when it's not manned.
