I'd like to suggest making the stationary cannons respawn after 2 minutes, meaning making them unrepairable. As it currently is, especially on supercharge, the flak 88s are up and running 20 seconds after they're destroyed. It is nearly impossible to grab the southern most outpost. If they were destroyed and respawned after 2 to 4 minutes, it would be a lot more balanced.

And another suggestion. When I'm driving my pz4f2, or my stuka, or any other high-class vehicle, and it get destroyed, it respawns about 20 to 30 seconds after I respawn, allowing me to grab it over and over again. Having them spawn 2 minutes later would be good enough to discourage this kind of camping. However I'm not sure how that would work out on balance issues. This also makes me a lot less careful when driving a tank or a plane - knowing that I can just grab it as it respawns.

Ever heard of artillery? It's pretty damn easy to destroy them. I like the fact that guns need to be repaired instead of magically spawning. It makes the role of the engineer crucial in defending outposts. The engineer in FH2 has finally the class it's supposed to be, something that is missing in every other BF2 mod. Maybe the repair times on the heavier guns should be increased alittle.

The spawntimes of vehicles are short because it reflects the large volume of vehicles that was used in the WWII. Maybe only the more rare types of equipment should have longer spawntimes.

Most vehicles have a spawntime of over 1 or 2 minuets. And most of the tanks in this release are common workhorse tanks. More important vehicles, like the matilda (and later tigers) will take several minuets longer to respawn.

The main disadvantage to destroying a vehicle is to take it out of immediate action, and it may require several more minuets to return to the front.

The repair time for the flak 88 is bugged (too short), we will fix this in next release. But if you use smoke to cover your advance in the supercharge southern flags is a walk in the park, ask it to the poor victims of my sherman with its smoke and HE ammo.

Once again, no damn plane or tank in FH2 respawn in 20 seconds, the minimum is 60 seconds, and more for "heavies" like matildas or bombers.

It was quite show in there once when I was firing the 25pounder on it's position...88 destroyed, reloading...ok, 88 back in action, BOOM, destroyed, reloading...

about as realistic as the gun automatically replacing itself after 2 minuets.

I like the repair feature, gives the engineer class a purpose. And it also means the gun is out of action until repaired. So if its never repaired, it's out for the rest of the round. And doesnt just magically come back. I do agree that some stuff could use longer repair times however.
