I have a slightly complicated idea that would encourage more teamwork and flag capping. Say at the beginning of a battle,you start out with a few tanks and trucks. Now, there is a river and you can't cross it; you need a boat. To get this boat, you need to cap flag A which is guarded by the allies. Once this is taken over, boats spawn near the river. Moving on,after the boats have been captured, you have another base. Air support is needed badly at the base(air field is there but with no planes) so, you have to go capture flag C in order to get the planes back at flag B and so on. So you see, this would inspire people to defend their bases(in fear of the other team taking the base and getting supply at their base which would cut off your supply line) more and go for flags to create a supply line. Nifty,eh?
Adding on to something like this, we need to add Pontoon Trucks to improvise at blown bridges. Maybe a Market Garden map at Son where you have to clear the town. Once the Axis are on the other side of the river the tanks spawn(like how the LSTs spawn on Gold once objectives are captured), along with some pontoons you have to set up in order to push on.
Yeah, i could see how this could work, you just unroll a platform with the arrows.
MrFancypantsA good idea. You just have to watch out that the people who defend the bridge/airfield don't have too much of an advantage.
IMHO this is the way BF should of been, makeing flag capping inmportant to getting more weapons, and better flag position, and this is the way it was in real life, hold a point so that you can be renforced by tanks, and other support like planes, trucks, halftracks, and infantry, or ships.
Lets hope a dev. sees this; this would encourage alot of teamwork. I got this idea from WWIIOL because certain depots are supplied by other town depots.
