Hey I just got IL2 FB two days ago.Wow,it is awesome.Anyways,I was wondering if you could make that window on the bottom of the cockpit inside the stuka like IL2 does. And...is it possible to make the plane spin out of control at 5% health, like how EOD did it with the helicopters. It would be a neat thing.

well, with helicopters you need the tail rotor to stay in control, with airplanes you dont, thus it would not be spinning out of control, for all intents and purposes the health bar is just saying that this is how long untill something breaks.

Well in movies, when a plane gets shot down it loses control and spins.OR! I just came up with an idea,at about 5%,the wing breaks and it spins and crashes!

They only spin out of control if you've cut off one of their wings. Other then that its a smoky mass of metal crashing into the ground. The Stuka window would be cool but we can't currently look down that far into the floor. So it wouldn't be too great. Besides that, almost everyone uses nosecam to fly anyways, so you can see all you need to.

Well, you could always take out the crosshair from the nosecam and force people to use the cockpit.

If it were easier to freely look about the cockpit, that might actually be a good idea.

I like the thought of the window, but you cannot force people to use something simply because you like it. :moon:

People could still scan with with the nose can for targets and then switch to cockpit view for the actual attack.

yeah, but you do need a rear fuselage to stay up too... the spinning thing is a great idea.
