Hi everybody, fist off, i love this Mod. Been playing FH since first release for BF1942. Thanks to the Devs for this wonderful experiences!! In my eyes, the ammo supply for AT guns is a problem. Little example: Don´t know the map name, but yesterday we were able to defend an Axis outpost with 3 AT guns against all British tanks coming up. Was real fun. But then we ran out of ammo, no supply drops came in, nothing. To hold an outpost with three Anti Tank rifles is nearly impossible. So we lost it. In this phase of WW2 it is nearly impossible to fight back upcoming tanks with rifles;-) Don´t know if it is possible to implement crates, where the AT Gunner can take shells to bring them to his gun. For example, at the beginning of the match, the gun emplacement is loaded with 50 rounds, but the gunner can walk back to a crate, where he can pickup 5 additional round for the gun. Could be fun, to see people run an take ammo for their guns. P.S.: Please excuse my bad english;-)

infinite ammo on front line 'pounder guns like on Tobruk for instance would make the map unbalanced, and totally toss for the German team. Theres sometimes a critical point in that map when the front lines guns are busted up or run out of ammo, it's then that the panzers roll in and take everything but the backflag. - This happened last night on Hslan server, the german team finally steamrolled the british right back to the last flag and won the round by 6 tickets - it was 6 - 0 final score.

I think the way to go would be a deployable ammo cache from the back of a truck with a high reload time - that stops the truck being parked on the frontline (hopefully) and being an obvious target.

Don't remove the air dropped supply crates. since they are great for tanks when running out of ammo. how then will they get ammo? they get useless and are left empty. if not someone is constantly driving the ammo truck around supplying forces, tanks and artillery. which there won't be.

Perhaps make the crates pushable for infantry. You can do it for ATguns, why not supply crates? At least that way you don't have to screw around with a slightly pushing vehicle for 5 minutes, you can just push it that last meter yourself. With the nice drawback of it being slow and you not being able to fire, making you a nice target.

Either that or the suggestion of somebody in this thread for picking up ammo and carrying it to the gun itself. For instance a stationary ammocrate, with the static of the ap shells in the boxes and such, where you can "use" for getting an ammobox in your hands as a sort of pickup that you can then carry to the gun you want for X amount of ammo.
