One thing in FH that has always bugged me--not to mention cost the lives of a few teammates!--is the fact that if you pick up an enemy weapon, you swap your helmet as well. I fail to see the logic in this! In real life, if you were an American and picked up a schmeiser, you didn't automatically put on a Wermacht helmet, did you? That would just invite mistaken identity shootings. PLEASE do not include this in FH2.

Yeah I made a suggestion about this awhile ago, think they said that this "feature" had been removed from BF2, so it wouldn't be a problem in FH2...

I wouldn't call it a "feature" - more like an engine limitation

That was the MOST annoying feature in FH. It's good that the devs have left it out in BF2.

Exactly. This was unavoidable in FH1 - the BF1942 kits forced you to include headgear. The only way round it was not to have any helmets or hats at all - everyone bare-headed! Which was obviously not an acceptable option......

Not the devs fault.

Imagine that: you are able to pickup MP40 from the german you just shot, without having to fear that you'll be shot by the first team-mate you encounter (especially in the dark (?) bunkers and caverns of North Africa...)
