I think it would be cool if a map or two could actually have real woods/forests. We have kinda half-ass woods right now. I'm talkin real thick woods with dense brush and trees that are close together, purely infantry areas. There could be some pretty cool battles, it would be like deer hunting almost! What do you guys think? Oh and I'm not talking about making an entire map one big forest, but in maps like Nordwind and such it would be cool.
Yeah, this should be a priority. Foy just doesnt seem like the Ardennes with those short, small little trees.
How about some friggin' open land steppe maps. Tired of so much close combat. FH is rapidly becoming Quake.

I agree with you on that, but I'm talking about for the maps that allready have "Forrests"
The problem is that when you put trees together in lose enough to look like a real forest it lags like crazy on some people's machines. Orel had a forest like that and I didnt have too mcuh problems but others did.
It was sexy hiding my T-34 in that forest..
Even sexier hiding the Tiger in the forrest.
mmmm, sex. mmmmm, hot russian girlfriend. mmmmmm, sex.:hump:
The problem is that the BF 1942 Engine dons´t take foliage very well. Thats why you´ll have to live with what we´ve got now.
Just make trees taller and brushier. And put them closer together ala Orel. You should be able to hide a tank in those woods to ambush people.
