allright: HI EVERYONE! just regirstred now, to make some suggestions! <3 FH2 :cya:

1. i really whould like to see pedals in game, when you played RO you know what i mean, its hard to explain for me, im not THAT good at english, so can someone explain it for me?

2. anti tank rifles: they should damage ALL tanks! now, that sound wierd now, but it isnt that stupid as it sounds. when a anti tank rifle hit a critical zone (ammo, engine ) the tank WILL get damaged, even when it will be a tiger (in later versions ) here are some datasheets of the german tanks, when it hit those areas, IT should damage the tank, how much, thats the matter of armor.

3. angle hitboxes IT should be impossible that a tank can damage another one when the target has a 25 degree angle to you. NOT EVEN WHIT A 88! the shell will simple reflected, do no damage. BUT, higher calibers can penetrate still on low angles, so. 50mm -> 40° angle, = reflected 75mm -> 40° angle = hit.

theyre only suggestions, to make tank combat more realistic/skill based, and give good players who has only got a panzer III a chance against other tanks.

You are right, but this have been already discussed, remember that you're not in Red Orchestra, and sadly the devs are limited with tank features with the BF2 engine, which is all but a tank simulator.

BF series are a combination of infantry, air, armoured and naval warfare, the whole mix is good, not each single part.

1. I'm not sure how doable that is, but personally i think it would just ruin the fun. 2. Ever tried hitting the top rear deck of a tank with an AT rifle? It works better against axis tanks but in 4-5 shots you'll have him smoking/dead. AT rifles wouldn't have been able to damage a heavier tank anyway. Even on the critical zones. 3. Deflections like that i think are hard to simulate. Besides, figures never represent real life. You can bet your arse that in real life application a tank will still take a hit from an 88 at a 25 degree angle. Any how, it's a game, it's not supposed to be uber realistic. It already is fairly realistic and retains the fun. Too much realism = not fun in a game of FH2's style. If your good then a PzIII has every chance against the heaviest tanks on FH2. Obviously the people you're talking about arn't that good...

ok. but it whould be so cool when a AT rifle had a chance vs tanks, now they cant even penetrate the BACK armor of the sherman!

bf2 engine sucks..

AT rifles just suck, they are pretty useless except against the lighests of tanks and light armoured vehicles. As they should be.

Yeah they were an early war AT weapon. They wern't designed for use against even medium tanks. Once you rocket AT you won't even noticed.

Darktimes don't say you play vanilla RO? Because its tank combat is little screwed up (its good but it overestimates angling and some tank cannons are not so good as they should be). Carpathian Crosses and AB-mod fixes most of these things and makes tank combat much more enjoyble experience.

I'd like to see two different speeds for tanks. One for moving fast and second for moving with infantry guys for support.

About antitank rifles: The one RO has is russian PTRD which has much better penetration than Boys or Panzerbüchse variant FH2 has. Wasn't PTRD's penetration about 35-40mm for 100m while Boys and Panzerbüchse cannot penetrate more than 15-30mm in 100m.

PS. I'm NOT bashing vanilla RO because its a great game but those mods make tank combat in it much better.

AT rifles are godlike once the germans sat food on crete, so many light transport vehicles. and thats whats they are made for taking out light armored vehicles not real tanks

I don't know this for sure but many times at rifles kills ligt vehicles with one shot (or it is possible for it to happen).

It would be nice and realistic that the first shot would heavly damage the vehicle, so the passengers have the time to get out before being destroyed.

Its just a bit silly to be sniped and killed instantly when you are in a truck, by an AT rifle.

Also a distinced sound for when you are hit by an AT rifle would be nice, so you have time to get out before being instagibbed.
