This is only a suggestion as I'm not 100% sure if the devs will actually want to include the commanding system for FH2, but if they did wouldn't it be so great for example: in the Afrika Campaign, whoever choses to be the commander the player model for it would change and appear to look like the main man himself :bows: "Irwin Rommel" as he was in charge of the whole operation that took place there for the Germans and the British would have "Bernard Montgomery" of course. You could also make the voice commands sound like them too. This idea would make FH2 even more realistic, complete and way ahead of the competition.

I support this idea. I've always wanted to assasinate Rommel from the back of my jeep, parked on some hill somewhere with a scope No.4.

That would be great!!!!!, but then you would get the guys saying stuff like "rommel didnt cammand in that battle, such and such did. But other than that its a simple and great idear.

It would be great if the commander would actually look like one, not just like some ordinary grunt. That would make the commander a rather wanted man by the enemy. In BF2 the commanders tend to hide in some dark corner never to be seen. In FH2 the commander should be forced to have a more active role in the field.

Good idea, can't wait to kick my iron boots in Hitlers ass while play as Stalin in the Eastern front campaign.

You could even make a what-if map which takes place 20 years after WWII and features a all out fight between a tower high Hitler mutant and a Stalin robot with death eye rays.

Seriously though, this whole idea is just a tad bit strange, why would a high ranking officer like Rommel risk his life to be near a battle ( Forgotten Hope focuses on Battles, yes )to command his troops when he has countless other commanders below him who can do the job just as well.

Besides, if you add famous characters like Rommel or Montgomery, you will just end up with games where the teams are looking for the famed commanders all over the map.

FH2 goes -> Hide and seek.

I think the commander assets is hard coded by EA/DICE.

maybe its impossible to make some cool things.

Everything is hard-coded in by DICE:p.

Rommel? No, he sat there in his limousine 100 miles behind friendly lines, sipping champagne while his troops died.

Some sort of field commander type, though? I'd like that.

Wrong! Rommel wasn't that kind of a commander!
