I justed started playing Red Orchestra and really like the realism of their infantry combat. One thing I like is that when you go prone it takes a moment before you're set up and ready to fire -- any way to implement something like that in FH to stop the dolphin diving machine gunner unrealistically hosing you? (or is the engine too restrictive?)

Someone else has probably asked about this, but I didn't find anything when I Searched.

Set up time is not possible in BF42. Hence the fire delay on the riflenade. I would suggest making all support mg's deployable. A few changes to the deployable mgs should be made though. 1. 3 deployment modes (prone, crouched, and standing) 2. Slow movement allowed for repositioning (since it is hard to guess exactly where it will end up when you drop it) 3. Collision mesh should be removed from the gun (if possible) to prevent them from being used as tank launchers 4. They should be belt fed Have bipod versions availible as pickups on some maps but deployable MG's should be the spawnable class. *none of this applies to BAR, Bren, Type 96, or Type 99 as they are in a different class*

the problem with removing the collision meshes is its easier for that sniper to get you. although slightly covered, that is still better then nothing

The ammo box has very rarely saved me from snipage. If it prevents antigrav tanks so be it. Besides, how protective is a tin box gunna be? Agreement with Myrddraal's points.

Man, I have pushed for a blet fed for sometime, I even outlined the concept for XWW2 and FH teams...I hope it is put in someday....

i know in that finwars mod one, or whichever when you got out of big vehicles, there would be a little wait bar that didnt let you out until it was full how about implementing this to get up with heavy guns? just a though

Are you serious?! That will solve the issue of bailers from the planes!

That wait bar would be great for all vehicles in FH!!! (except APC's, Jeeps, and Trucks as it would cause these to be death traps) **runs off to start thread**
