I wonder why do the team get more stuff (tanks, planes etc.) when they capture more flags? Shouldn't it be the other way around so the losing team would get more reinforcements helping to stabilize the gameplay.

For instance in Valirisk it's a bit frustrating to see my team trying to proceed from the base (with no flags of course) with three tanks against hordes of T-34s. If you gave bonusmaterials to the bleeding team I think many baserapes could have been avoided.

I don't know if this is possible, but I'm lookin for comments and further thoughts.

PS. I crawled these forums and tried to use search but couldn't find anything related. If this already discussed, don't get mad. Over and out, peace.

it's not that often that one of the teams get advanced equipment by holding a flag. the reason to have it like that is to concentrate the battle, make the teams realize that that flag is the key to the entire victory.

but it does have a flip-side, as you pointed out. i'd prefer it to stay the way it is, as long as the other team has a way of countering the weapons deployed.

I agree that one side shouldn't get hoardes of extra tanks - it only serves to finish the map as a competitive affair. I think that the more flags you have, the slower things spawn in the base. Think of it as logistical problems if you like. Granted certain flags could release certain vehicles, but don't go crazy with it.

But should the conquering of a key position grant you some game-play advantage ?

I think yes and a few extra vehicles is the only way to reflect this. However this should vary from map to map. I think this isn´t a general problem, but rather a specific problem on certain maps.

However the ticket bleed on some maps like Breakthrough and others needs serious reconsidering.

It does...it allows your forces to spawn there instead of spawning half the map away from a battle. Problem is most players are vechile whores and constantly spawn at main trying to get another tank. When tanks spawn at a flag closer to a battle, it allows a quick refill of forces depleted. Or it allows a baseraper less time to get back into his favorite position. In some cases combine this with the players who are coming back from the main, and you have a constant baserape. I think the idea of spawning vechiles as teams cap flags is dumb. I HATE that 2 second lag which happens when the server loads something new in. It also allows for too quick of a reinforcement. There are enough vechiles in every map at the start, FH has gone alittle overboard with them. Its like people are scared to only have their gun.
