The Omaha Charlie sector, was the coolest map ever, but i have a problem with all omaha beaches i Have played, and that is the MGs in the bunkers and on top of the sanbags, those MGs are too accurate its like a damn sniper shooting a hole shit load of rounds a time I cant even hide behind a tank barrier.eaither the tank barrier has to be bigger or the MGs have to be lest accurate. Will there ever be Operation Bridgehead in FH becaus it looks prety good, also there should be more airbourns maps. And is there any way FH can stop from people claping around on the airborn planes becaus it kills people.

i think those maps need more obstacles to hide behind and more craters to jump into.

I agree, the tank traps don't provide cover for Sniper Machineguns.

I hate to keep drumming on about this but, how about making the collision boxes for the tank traps bigger instead of changing the size of the model?

Thats a good idea make it so the player next to it can't be hit by the bullets, but the MG needs to have kick back, no man in any time not even Arnold could hold an MG24 perficly still, and deliver that kind of fire. But the thing is that in reallife they were bigger, they were made to stop tanks, so they were made big, Tank traps were at least as big as the avrage man standing up.

I would have to agree to give the MG42's a bit of kick. As it is, it's perfectly accurate.. and that's just silly. As for the tank traps, I dunno.

The whole key to firing a machine gun is controlled bursts. Let off about 3-5 rounds at a time. If you do this, you will get accuracy. If you continuously fire, then accuracy goes way down. So, it's not really that far-fetched that people are "sniping" with the MG, as long as they're using controlled bursts. I don't really think the obstacles need changed, anyway. In order to shoot/snipe at the MGs, you need to expose yourself (so to speak). If you're exposed, you may very well get shot by the MGs. Seems pretty straightforward. Sure, maybe there could be a little more cover, but the reality of the situation was that there wasn't much cover. The Germans weren't going to pile up the beach with all kinds of obstacles to allow invaders to hide behind. They put enough out to stop/hinder tanks, other than that they wanted open beach space. In my opinion, the fundamental aspect of playing the Allies on D-Day maps is accepting that you are going to die a lot. It's the nature of the beast. If you're overly concerned about your score and kill:death, then you're bound to not like Omaha very much. Invading forces suffer high casualty rates. Because there are a limited number of invaders going against solid defenses, it only goes to figure it's going to take some deaths to finally penetrate the bunkers. Unless servers would set Allied:German ratios higher, this isn't likely to change. I don't advocate this though, because I think it would make the maps cake-walks for the Allies. Anyway, my 2 cents because I get tired of people complaining about Omaha, which I think is one of the best FH maps when it is played well. JTM

yes it is only the best omaha ever, but I dont think men in omaha Beach sat behind a tank barrier and waited in till they got shot by the Mgs, maybe the Mgs accurasy is ok, but the tank Barriers got to change Becaus I dont think the Game expect us to charge becaus if we hide we get shot if we charge we get shot so what would be the diffrence. Omaha is a great map I play that map every day. But they also need to change the fog I cant see the Allies when im in the Mgs or can I see the boats, I can see them a little But I dont care about the Alies on the beach i want to be able to shoot at the higgins boats. And I would like to see that we dont die on the C-47 or Ju-52 becaus we Bounce around in the plane, Make it like desert combat C-130, I never die in that. But dont get me wrog but i love FH just want some changes done.

i still think there should be more craters to hide in. you have to gradually make your way up to the doors by hiding in craters.
