craka)(craka;3362454That would just be stupid, nobody will ever want to move the artillery if it needs 1/4(6 players) of the team to move just one piece.
no, one person can move it but it goes faster with more people.
I think FH2 should adopt the BF:Pirates way of moving falconets.
How does that work bunny?
I will only accept this if we can pull Defguns out of our pants..
Yeah. Not all of us are familiar with pirates (despite playing it.. ah memories).
P.S. I think in Bf1918 you can fire while moving like a slow moving tank, but I have a way to prevent this btw.
Not all artillery pices should be towable and for those that are it would be 2 or 3 players.
This would be a towable pice.
1 person you can spin it 360 degress like you normaly do. With 2 you can move it but slowly, with 3 it would go as if you were moving normaly but slower, but you can sprint but depletes stamina fast.
Good point, so no towing anything bigger than a pak 40, maybe.
105mm Howitzer would be the best cutoff, so you could actually move arty into a useful position that's in cover. As of now, most arty is put in over exposed spots, and useless cuz you can't move it. I've seen the 105mm le/FH arty in real life, it wouldn't be that hard for the crew to move it. And one thing everyone continue to forget is that why do you need 3 people to move it? I don't see tanks with 5 man crews, bombers with 6, 7 man crew or more. Ships seems to move fine with just one crewmember. Your forgetting that we are representing the entire crew, not just one person in the crew.
That sounds fair. I wonder if the devs could make it so the engineer that collapses the piece could actually attach it to a truck/halftrack/tank etc. Then it would be too easy ;)
@Muddy, I think artty should be different to tanks + bombers because when set up, they can be a lot more deadly being much easier to use. Requiring two people would discourage its use except in teamplay situations @Monkey, Not sure mate? I thought just pushing/pulling would be effective enough Anycase, and I could really see this as being a feature one day :)
