Hey all on the Mod Team, Thanx for the OUTSTANDING Mod. :bows:

My suggestion is I think tracer ammunition would be a great addition to this mod, they were used since the later stages of WW1 and became as time passed very important to the fighting man.

Would be great to see every 5th round for rifle and Submachine gun was tracer & every 3rd round for MG was tracer. As far as i understand the Allied color has always been red or shades of it, i would presume the WW2 allied color may have been a little paler than todays. Germany i know used a yellow color.

A quote if i may about their British history (from Dave Cushman's site, given as a link from WiKi)

"Tracer, armour piercing and incendiary cartridges were adopted by the British Government during 1915, explosive bullets having been approved for service in 1916. These rounds were extensively developed over the years and saw several Mark numbers. The last tracer round introduced into British service was the G Mark 8 round, approved in 1945, the last armour piercing round was the W Mark 1Z introduced in 1945 and the last incendiary round was the B Mark 7 introduced in 1942. Explosive bullets were not produced in the UK after about 1933 due to the relatively small amount of explosive that could be contained in the bullet limiting their effectiveness, their role being successfully fulfilled by the use of Mark 6 and 7 incendiary bullets which were of a less complicated construction."

Please please add tracers to FH2. :nodding:

FH2 already has tracers for most machineguns. Submachineguns and handcarried machineguns don't use tracers as to not give your position away.

I've never heard of any soldiers at any time in any war using tracers in rifles and smgs.

It's unusual, but it happens. In Beriut snipers would fire tracer rounds into windows to spot for MG teams, in 'Nam they would load up a 1911 with tracer. Called it a Special Forces Laser Pointer. (For real though, infantry having tracers bugs the crap out of me in games.)

could they be increased in color a bit or changed from a laser type line, bit more like PR perhaps.

I think maybe your confused with some other weapons systems. Since early 1916 to present day they have been used, in rifles and mg's. possibly not SMG's tho as they are CQB weapons.
