I don't know if this is can be done, or already been mentioned, but is it possible in FH2, to give the tracks on tanks Hit Points so they can be destroyed and thus immobillizing the tank while the rest of the tank is still unharmed. It would be a very cool feature for FH. What are your thoughts on it?

I guess it would be possible, but it would basicly be adding two vehicles in one ( the tracks counting as one, and the remaining parts of the tank as a other ) vehicle.

But the devs are very good at performing miracles, so who knows what's going to happen.

That would actually pretty sweet, i can already imaging the funny effect a fast turn BT-7 would have only being able to turn :)

Cant BT-7's drive without their tracks to begin with?

Its a good idea tho.. but have faith in the devs, if its possible, they will think of it.

One of the devs said they actually managed to disable tracks in FH1 but the flaw was that it couldn't be repaired again. So I would say that in the BF2 engine they might be able to fix that last problem and the devs will certainly look into it. This thing is on very high demand by devs, testers and fans. :p

Even if the tracks couldn't be fixed it would still be really cool, also quite realistic as well because many tank crews had to abandon their tanks when they were immobilized.

Not realy, the track no way would have to be a vehicle. It's more about adding part of code that would be responsible for new material wich would be triggering the effect after taking enough damage.
