In fh the trajectory and muzzle velocity is way to unrealistic. The shells fly way to fast and way to straight. All tanks should have different trajectory and muzzle velocity based on their history, and if thats to much to add then at least make it somewhat realistic. Most tanks should have a trajectory path similar to the panzer in vanilla battlefield. And the trajectory should be based on the muzzle velocity and the weight of the shell.

IMO, the velocity is too small ! I had a KT and a M8 was moving fast, some 50 metres away from me. I had to add 10 m lead to kill it. The infantry weapons are the same case. I dont know but if somebody is 100m away from me and hes running 20 km/h, its completely unreal to add so much lead like you have to in FH.

Tanks in real life had extremely fast velocity shells that were far faster than the speed of sound (depending on the length of barrel etc.). Long barelled tanks and tank destroyers generally had a very flat tajectory (Panther, Pershing, Firefly, SU-85 etc.). However, shorter barreled tanks such as early Panzer IV and III variants would have had a slight arc to them (as you've described). However their shells would still travel very fast. Beleive me it's mostly correct in FH.

You must be kidding! Trajectory path similar to vanilla? Vanilla-tanks didn't shoot, they lobbed their grenades.

The BF-engine allows only for combat over a few hundred meters. A tank-shell is usually propelled with a muzzle-velocity of several hundred meters per second, so actually the shells should hit almost instantly in most cases. Of course the shell won't get much of a trajectory in less than a second so the almost straight line is fine as well.

I the trajectory is fine, I can't stand it in BF42, you can't hit anything at long. Either you overshot or you don't aim high enough.

Compared to FH, Vanilla feels as if your firing 10 ton shells.

My God, indeed. You have no idea how long dozens of FHers fought to get tank guns with realistic "velocity" and more accurate trajectory. All I can say is, "You are quite obviously insane; completely...totally....insane."

Man, if only Anlushac-11 could have seen this one: there would be blood on the monitor screens. And with good cause. Look, I think BF1942 might be more to your liking.

This insanity needs to be locked.
