I'd like to suggest a change in the German airfield on Crete.

When someone enters the Ju-52 it starts to go backward, making it next to impossible to wait for enough people, especially if the first few planes have already left. Either the pilot does nothing and the plane ends up in the sea behind it, or he tries to control the plane in order not to leave people behind. I have seen several times that a new Ju-52 spawned into the waiting one and it exploded.

Maybe the spawning of a new Ju can be nlocked if another one is still on its location?

And maybe the plane could go forward instead of backward and a little slower?

I also see pretty often a pilot who is only trying to take off, starts the game with -14 or something because it is very, very easy to get a teamkill with a Ju-52. I myself have experienced this only once, but I almost never fly the plane, I'm usually one of the passengers.

Maybe the collision of the Ju-52 can be lowered? Or the pilot gets less penalty, like when you get a teamkill with a mine you have flagged?

I don't know what the best solution would be, but as it is, is the taking off from the German airfield on Crete needlessly complicated imo.

Either way, many pilots use a flightstick to fly, and its very difficult to find the true neutral ground on some stick's throttles. This may explain why the planes seem to slide backward at first.

Joystick=Pansy...The only exception being if you're in a flight simulator.

I don't think so. On Crete many people fly planes who wouldn't do so normally, because as a German you NEED to get to that island in order to a game of some sorts. Besides, like I posted, I was a pilot myself twice or maybe three times, and I experienced it as well. The plane was moving backwards when I did nothing.

2 JU-52's at the side of the runway, (on a slight angle) with longer spawn times would probably solve the problem. Of course, it would then require pilots to taxi and turn onto the runway prior to takeoff. (A relatively easy maneuver, but one bound to cause problems.) In fact on balance, this is probably a bad solution. (yet i am posting it anyways.) I never experience any backsliding, but if it is a problem, they could be put on a slight incline.

I think he's kidding. Even the most die-hard BF fan would concede that it is a pretty lousy flight sim.
