Yes, indeed. I just played Fall Weiss map today, and noticed this tank with twin MG turrets. Well, I have allways thought that tank without a big gun is useless, but these twin turrets are hell of a fun against infantry. There were twin turret versions of some tanks, how about adding some? T-26 http://www.militaryhobbies.com/custom/Product/zv3542sm.jpg A Fine example. I would love to see that ingame.
They can be funny or useless, it depends.. This concept was not extremely good in my opinion.
There is a T26 like that in Finnwars.. a good idea! We would have the standard T26 at the same time (great for early barbarossa maps) :)
There were two of these "land battleships", the T26, and the T35. The T26 used smaller guns for its auxilary turrets, whereas the T35 used those of light tanks like the T60 and T70.
Useless? Yes, you could say that. But then again, is this Universal Carrier useless or not? Erh... Is the ordinary T26 ingame already? I just started playing two days ago and I have not seen all of the maps yet. I supposed so when I saw render of the model in vehicles section. Different modifications of vehicles are always nice, if you ask me.
no I dont think it is. The twin turret is good against infantry when both turrets are manned, other wise it more of an inconvenieve having to swith positions to get the other firing arc. That and of couse I would take a cannon over 2 mgs. Still though I would be worht doing at some point as it pretty cool.
The T26 is only in Fall of Weiss right now. If there ever comes a good Finnish map, it would be in.
I would like to see the M3 grant on some of the pacific maps. Three turrets on board.
76MM main gun in a 90* turret in front, a smaller callibre on top, 360* rotation, and a MG on top of that with 360* rotation
No, it was a 75mm howitzer, a .30 cal hull gun, and a 37mm gun on the top.
The t26 isn't in fall weiss at all, that's the 7TP
the grant also hade i belive a .5 cal or .3 cal turret on top of the 37 mm turret.
