This version of the 88 would also be nice (The 8.8-cm Pak 43):

"German experiences with Soviet heavy tanks have resulted in the production of some very powerful guns. Among these is the Model 1943 88-mm gun. This improved 88 has a very high muzzle velocity, which enables gunners to lay on and hit even distant moving targets with considerable ease."

A back view, from a 8.8-cm Pak 43/41 on a "conventional artillery carriage." In the picture, it has destroyed a tank that has appeared on the skyline.

It had a sloping shield, similiar to other Pak guns. This particular improvement, of the 88, was used in an anti-tank role and also mounted on later tanks, such as the jagdpanther and kingtiger.

I assume the shieldless 88 was for more static anti aircraft defenses while the shielded were a "field" version.

AequitasA twin 105mm Howtizer? For the Germans?

I guess AceS is talking of a twin 105mm AA gun.

A twin howitzer wouldn't be bad, though... can't we have both? :D

I wan't to see the quad mobile flakpanzer, and the unsheilded version in FH, as they were both used way more than the current ones in the mod.

Being able to use the 88 as artillery is stupid, but unshielded version sounds ok. One thing that would be cool if it was possible would be to make the 88 have a timed explosive device. So you can shoot it at infantry and it blows in a certain amount of time and flak goes everywhere. Probably not possible.

The 88 unshielded would be much more suitable for bases as you wont need to protect yourself as much from small arms fire. For control points they should have the shielded version :).

Just my $.02

Well I think that may be possible but what is the point, in the current system if you shot by infantry with Flak it will explode and kill them anyways.
