I think a great map would a paratrooper map the us or brits would start out in drop planes high above the fields, and would have to parachute in the dark down into the fields while the germans would have to fight them off, us/uk would win once they took all the outposts, with the germans on the defense. FH has fantastically developed the beaches, but glider/paratrooper maps are non existent, i think it would add much more flare and variety to the game, not to mention being great fun tell me what you think...:uhm:

D-Day drops! I agree :)

it could be like creat, start off in "england" and fly over to france and jump
that would be cool, but for such a wait getting over there, the drops would have to be really detailed, with flak exploding, and a detailed plane, and detailed water...
Is it possible to make very large maps? Are there any restrictions? Of course, the bigger the map the better in this case! Which also give me an idea. Consider this. The pilots would have flown over the atlantic wall right and over some of the beaches to get inland? It would be a really nice touch if you could see all the hedgehogs on the beach whilst flying over and such. Know what I'm saying?!
yeah that would be so cool to see, but all that useless space/models would probably be a big lag maker.
True, and if the map is big I hear it lags aswell. But in this case, a big map is needed! and lost of AA stuff for the germans and a few towns n stuff. Like St Mere Eglise or whatever its called.
AA stuff would be cool for the germans, but just to add some extra flare, how about lighting the sky up with fake flak everywhere! like in omaha where in the water fake bomb blasts go off. I think it would be cool to jump out and just see the sky full of flak.
Good idea! It would be cool to make every bullet a tracer as well even, for added coolness! But would the flak damage the planes, and give splash damage to the paratroopers?
I take what n0e says way too seriously

You bet it would.
