I found nothing about that in the search function, so i suggest a "Vehicle/Weapon/Item section". It Contains a picture of the Item and a (short) informative description with some trivia. At one hand i want to worship the guys who are making themselves so much work with the french/japanese army equipment thread and on the other hand it would really be nice to read more then the basic informations of the weapon as caliber, weight and rounds.

I hope you understand what i am talking about, my english is still not the best.

The scheme of such a description would be like that for vehicles:

"Ha-Chi-Pu XI Model Z

Weight: 50 Tons Length: 3,4 metres

Details: The Ha-Chi-Pu XI's Model Z is the last of the crazy japanese experimental tanks. It came up in the last days of war with a 2 meter armor that could't even be destroyed by multiple direct shots. Some allied Tank drivers said after the war it was the best tank they ever met, though it wasn't able to drive more then 20 miles with its tiny tank. Blablabla"

Only a idea (as the tank i described is ;P)

What do you think of this?

PS: Oh, and please no FH-Wiki clone, i mean a database right on the FH homepage!

Yes i mean the stuff so we can directly ready what exact model of the weapon is used in the game. Besides, sure there ARE many Sources in the internet but i like to have a interesting short description and no book of every detail. :)

And it doesn't even need to be researched by the FH dev team. It could be made by interested forum members and the devs just put it online.

they could add a short description like: "No1 mk III, manufactured from 19whatever to 19whatever, 10 round magazine, found in FH2 on early british and australian maps etc"... but then again, lot of work for little impact.

there's already a section of the wiki about this, although it's somewhat barebone Main Page - Forgotten Hope Wiki
