Hanomag Sdkfz 251 conversion, Panzerjager Bren 731(E), Panzerjager Borgward B IVc A number of vehicles were setup use shecks grouped together as a vehicle mounted weapon. THis was brought up in a other thread on fausts, but though I should give its own. The borg would be good for a berlin map. I think the 731 or a 251 with shrecks would easier to make though since there in-game already in game so it would require a skin, and the weapon mount and codeing only. The bren panzerschrexk mount used 3 grouped together. This mount used in the bren, but also in the 251, and reportedely even in some kubels. The borg used a diffenet setup though so that would be a differnt model. (more work). Here some pics, the weapon mount (3 shrecks) you see in the bren carrier was also used on some 251s. The other one is not that great of a pic but that is the borg, which had more tubes in its launcher. Panzerjager Bren 731(E), attachment.php?attachmentid=17054 If you look at the weapon setup, this is the same that coudl be mounted in the half track. The army headquaters put out document on how to add this setup to a regular hanomag and its was not official 'variant' in that sense but a official field converion. Panzerjager Borgward B IVc attachment.php?attachmentid=17053 This was a more purpose designed vehicle and had a 6 tube launcher.

heh probaly why I cant find any pictures of the conversion .. heh. I would take it over the regular one as would afford at least some anti-tank capabilty. I shoudl have mentioned this- this was also mounted on some kubelwagons. That would be even harder to spot then the others! The 251 should probaly get some of its other more common variants first anyways like the stummel etc.

The Kubelwagen version scares me, Im having flashbacks of the Kubelfausters from .5

I am suprised you haven't. It's doesn't take much to see that this was a desperation vehicle though.

I cant find a mention of whether the Panzerjager Bren mount was turnable but the Borgward was.
