I would love to see more torque particularly on the soldiers because they can't even scale a very steep hill even on Vanilla. They should be able to climb over it simply by going prone.

Actually most tanks in WW2 sucked at climbing because they had too little horsepower per ton versus sqaure inches of track on the ground.

The exception to this was the Churchill which was legendary for its hill climbing ability. In fact after El Al the Brits were going to retire the hurchill as a failure. Til they hit the hills of Tunisia and only one tank could climb the hills to provide fire support to the infantry.

The Churchill.

Tanks can be fast and still have poor to mediocre hill climbing ability. Cromwell was very fast but not a great climber. This was due to the gearing for its intended role as a cruiser.

Isn't 35 degrees around the point at which tanks cannot climb up a hill continuously (and loose soil can't stay on a flat surface)? This of course is general without taking gearing, and power to weight ratio into account. Time for some physics!:naughty:
