ok man first off i have to say im sorry i cant find the post i was on befor i went through the reg proces for the site... but what i saw was a guy with freeze up problems fresh from a format and still crash's. well i think i know a way to help out.. the via drivers for his mobo were up dated there are a set of drivers i use for my 4n1 and my vcard drivers as well.. i am running win2k and have found that the 45.24 nvidia drivers and the via drivers to use are the 49's when the install is done a big thing i learned from the 5200 gforce 4 card is that you must turn the vsync off. why ? i dont know.. just helps.. kept the lock up down to nill on my sys. i had the same problems locking up random times games visual programs.. this set of drivers and vsync off .. also for this card i would grab the gforce tweak just for the clock tool.. when running up the clock speeds make sure you keep the same amout of ## between the two for example i run my present benchmarker gforce 4 ti4800 albatron card at 606 mhz and 300 even. runs fast and stable.. from there opengl on leave textur sharping off and allow all apps to controle the anti alising and i set all tabs to high speed or best performance tends to run fastand smoother then best quality .... . to find the drivers one needs to hit the site www.guru3d.com www.voodoofiles.com dont bother with the drivers from nvidia hate to say it but this old 45.24 drivers are the best i have used so far.. good luck :nodding:

I have a 5600 that is overclocked to 5900(thank god for the 256 option) it shows in must games as a 5900, i don't know why but it does. Lately I have noticed that these drivers have been gettng worse, I guess they are getting lazy. It is pissing me off.
