Finally updated my definitions as of yesterday, and as it turns out, I have no less then 4 viri, all of the 'Download.Trojan' variety. I go to www.symantec.com to get the removal tools, but I have found none. In the words of Ahnult: Vhat am A going to do?

Try an online virus scan. Google the term "Online virus scan" and use the first that comes..

Look. The virus scaner, Norton AntiVirus: Corporate Edition already picked up the viri, and placed them in quarantine. I NEED SOMETHING TO CLEAN THEM, reason being one of the little bastards infected the .exe that is used to run Windows Media, so until I clean it, it's no music for me.

There are plenty of manual guides for removal of just about any viri, its just a question of googling enought. I aint doing it for you, and since your NIS has quarantined the infection its no real threat.

Ok, deleted it and installed. When I was infected we didnt have dsl, so dl media player was not an option, but all is well.

well, if i was you, i would get Panda (RAWR!) virius scan(its fast and it works great) and a Zone Alarm firewall. tis what i use. plus, use Winamp for your media. Windows player isnt that cool. and, since i feel like typing, why dont you get Ad-Aware and Spy-bot for the spyware you most likely have.

ok, enough random recomendations for me.

Heh....well, thats what you get for integrating WMP with Windows....security flaws. DL the WMP installer. It'll replace the executable.
